How Often Is a Vehicle Safety Inspection Required?
This is a two step process and is required every year when your car or truck is due for it’s vehicle registration. A vehicle state inspection must be performed at an authorized state inspection station like The Auto Shop. From there take this copy with you to receive your vehicle registration sticker that will be placed on the windshield.
How Much Does The Inspection Cost?
An annual inspection is required in the state of Texas for all vehicles registered. The costs are determined by the county of the registration.
A safety inspection is $7.00.

***The Auto Shop does not offer DOT inspections on Commercial Trucks.
